Tralee Rowing Club in association with Pieta House invite everyone to support the Tralee Nun Challenge, a Guinness World Record attempt to see how many nuns they can gather together in Tralee Town Park, on Saturday June 15th at 6.30pm, as part of a fundraising initiative during Féile na mBláth, The Park Family Festival Tralee 2019.
Tralee is challenging the current Guinness World Record of 1,436 people dressed as nuns in one place at a given time. The record was set by Listowel in 2012 and has remained unchallenged since.
To participate in this fun family friendly event and be part or a new Guinness World Record, simply bring your own black shoes and a nun costume will be provided with your €20 registration fee, with entertainment all evening and the Food & Craft Village remaining open during the festival. You can keep the costume forever, Halloween sorted!
On the day before the event, Friday, June 14th, people can collect their costume at the Grand Hotel, Tralee between 6.30pm and 8.00pm presenting their ticket. On the Tralee Nun Challenge day, Saturday June 15th, costumes can be collected with tickets in the marquee, in the town park at 5.30pm.
